Inspirational chalk art..... how do they do it?

There is a large number of amazing and professional chalk artists who use the magic of optical illusions to add a sense of awe and wonder to their works..... they also seem to use a large range of chalk colours..... which makes me wonder where you can buy an artists style chalk, or if this stuff is actually made from something else apart from your run of the mill stuff. These professional works were produced by a guy called Julian Beever.

This one is for Bianca....

Our Guerilla chalk story! We each took turns in composing this story, which can be fully read below.

OUR FULL CHALK ART STORY

She was small, but she wasn't tiny. Her world was dark, dark as the night, but light, light as the day. Her journey was long and filled with magic, magic filled it was. It was warm when she left. "Keep it clean" her father said, so she washed it util her skin began to split. And beneath the layers of pink felsh there were millions of crab! (plural) So the crab leader said to her "Rescue the prince from the tree in the world of the oyster. She began her journey to the Evergreen Forrest where she met a troll who spoke the words "Fol Ol De Ol Rol." So she ignored his monsterous garbled message. She continued on until the sun began to set. SHe lit a fire which attracted many woodland creatures including a talkin hedgehog who told her "The prince lies. See through his lies and you'll see his truth." He handed her a mirror framed in Oak. And she turned it on the hedgehog to see if he had a reflection. He didnt. Instantly she had an epiphany and poked the hedgehogs butt and he morphed into.(a) Key which opened the trapdoor under her feet. There lay the prince clasped in dark (leather) shackles. He rmind leapt "ol Ol De Ol Rol!"
"Uh, wrong trapdoor." he said.
"I dont thnk so" she said. "LIES!" They then embraced (p.p.s SEX), had 32 cherubs and one cat. THE END.
p.s "But you arent the prince, are you?"

It all started with a little white stick...

One dark night two innocent girls were loitering around a bus stop in Coogee. Bored and hungry these two headed towards a local convenience store for sustenance. Inspired by a pack of chalk for sale in this store, the two girls decided to create a suprise artwork outside a local store to be discovered by the public by the light of day.... and thus, Sydney guerilla chalk art was born....fun and random chalk art executed in darkness and discovered in daylight.
